Our team in Haiti needs your help. Currently, the violence and instability is some of the worst we have seen in our four decades of health care delivery in the country.
- The U.N. estimates that at least 60 percent of the capital is now under gang control, with gangs controlling even larger portions of rural areas of the country. Hospitals are not immune.
- The violence has become so widespread and profound, it has undermined our ability to operate as normal.
- 1 in 10 Haitians rely on PIH-supported facilities to be there for them.
While there is little we can do to end this social and political crisis, we must continue to deliver health care to those in immediate need.
Now is the time to send your urgently needed support.
