In an effort to address this, Partners In Health (PIH) Liberia created the Nursing Center of Excellence in 2019 to recruit more health care professionals, while also providing high-quality training and research opportunities.

It was a typical morning for Gretta Joseph, deputy chief nursing officer at University Hospital of Mirebalais in Haiti.
