Brett Drugge teaches 6th grade at Gage Middle School in Huntington Park, CA. After reading a New York Times article about the January 12th earthquake in Haiti with his students, he talked to them about Partners In Health. Drugge writes: “I introduced them to your important work and felt it was necessary to respond to our readings by reaching out to you.”
We were incredibly touched by the many messages of support and concern that poured into our Boston office following the earthquake. We can only try our best to answer as many as we can. The package of 35 handwritten letters from Mr. Drugge and his students in particular caught our attention, as their sentiments mirrored those of so many of our supporters.
