PBS Newshour: Long After Earthquake, Haiti Still Feels Devastating Effects of Cholera Epidemic

By Fred de Sam Lazaro in PBS NewsHour

After Haiti suffered a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, experts believe aid workers accidentally brought cholera to that nation, spreading due to unsanitary conditions. Fred de Sam Lazaro interviews Dr. David Walton with Partners In Health/Zanmi Lasante on the challenges to treat a disease not seen in Haiti for more than 100 years.
