COVID-19 Update from Navajo Nation

Webinar Date: Wednesday, July 15th, 2020

In mid-May, Navajo Nation surpassed New York for having the highest COVID-19 infection rate per capita in the U.S. But even during those dire days, there was hope. Join our leaders from the COPE program for an update on the COVID-19 response on Navajo Nation and hear about their continued efforts to provide critical care and support throughout the crisis. Hannah Sehn, interim executive director of COPE, and Dr. Sonya Shin, COPE's director of research, will be joined by key partners at Indian Health Service, Dr. Mia Lozada and Dr. Jennie Wei, to discuss their joint response to a COVID-19 hot spot.

Contact Tracing Update from the Front Lines

Last month, PIH launched the US Public Health Accompaniment Unit (USPHAU) to assist with local response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we want to share more about this critical new opportunity with you. PIH’s Global Approach to Tackling COVID-19

A COVID-19 Primer, and How to Stop its Spread

Join PIH’s Director of Research Dr. Megan Murray as she explains the epidemiology of COVID-19, what we know about the disease, and how it informs our work. Mental Health in the Time of COVID-19

Webinar Date: Tuesday, April 28th, 2020
